If the connection is not stable, Windows 10 (which is sharing an enormous amount of information via Internet might not respond normally because it's waiting for replies that stuff has been received.
You can choose to uninstall and restart the PC to make sure the latest driver is used.
Second, make sure the driver for your wifi networking in the PC is updated. Anyway, I noticed the issue just after that! It doesn't look like a Windows 10 issue at all, as my iPhone was also experiencing exactly the same. This morning, my WiFi connection was a little crazy, so internet access was on and off all the time. I don't know if that's worth mentioning, but yesterday all was good. I believe I have all Windows 10 updates until last Friday. I tried to google the issue but had not luck. I wonder if someone could help me fix it. My Windows 10, unfortunately, seems to remember all the bad stuff that happened on the previous session Then Taskbar is good again, but I can't touch its WiFi symbol on Notification Area, or else Taskbar will freezes. My only way out is to open Task Manager, finish "Windows Explorer", go to File then create a new task with "Explorer.exe". So, after that, I can't make Start button to work, I can't use the search field, I can't make any Taskbar icons to pop-up. Just to click on such icon triggers a Taskbar freeze. Eventually performance gets back to normal, but "Network & Internet" is still unopened.Īlso, if I click on the WiFi icon on Windows 10 Notification Area at Taskbar (at the bottom right of the screen), it does not pop-up, or it pops-up with an empty list of available connections (instead of a list that would have a dozen connections, including my own). While that happens, performance temporarily decreases, even Synaptics touch pad has some freezes/jumps. But if I go to Windows 10 Settings and then try to open "Network & Internet", it takes forever and it does not load. I do have my WiFi internet working, I can access internet all right.
